About Flickard
Last updated 17 August 2026
Flickard is a free top-down football game you play in the browser. The ball has weight. Shots charge. Ranked matches climb an ELO ladder. Players also draw their own stadiums and share them.
How it is built
The site is Next.js. Live matches run on Colyseus. The physics engine is ours — a fixed 60 Hz tick so local play and online play feel the same. There is no app store build and no installer.
How you play
Queue for a quick or ranked match from 1v1 to 4v4, train against bots, or play two-player on one keyboard. Open a private room to pick any official, fun, or community pitch and invite friends.
Who publishes it
Flickard is published by Flickard. There is no parent company page and no personal author byline. Questions go to the contact form.
Why it exists
Flickard is built so you can jump in and play in seconds — no download, no setup, a pitch that feels honest. Own engine, own ladder, own editor: a game made for people who want a quick, comfortable match.
